An incorporated body, the WLDLAC is a Little Athletics Centre in the Western Suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. At the WLDLAC our main objective is to create an atmosphere that supports children in achieving their personal best whilst also meeting the social needs of the young athlete. As volunteers, we provide a variety of activities and skills such as running, jumping and throwing that help develop strength, flexibility, co-ordination and balance. |
Athletes are encouraged to improve on their own time or distances rather than to be the best athlete. At WLDLAC we offer sprints, hurdles, relays, middle distance, shot put, discus, javelin, long jump, triple jump and high jump.
A modified program is offered to Tiny Tots focussing on fun and games and is suitable for children from ages 3-5yrs.
In preparation for the new season and to ensure that your child is able to participate or if you would like to volunteer some time in supporting this fun and non-for-profit organisation see Getting Involved.
WLDLAC meetings commence on 7 October 2011 and are held on Friday Nights at 6:00 pm until March at the Alan Iverson Reserve, Langham Place, Port Adelaide, South Australia.
See you there!
